About us
We have been promoting the Vistula, its values, tourist potential and history for over 10 years. Conducting numerous circulated projects, among others, traditional sailing school, Warsaw sailing races – we are infecting fascination with the queen of Polish rivers and a passion for traditional Vistula boats.
The Wide Water Foundation – the Warsaw NGO formed in 2012, conducting activities related to the Vistula River and the reactivation of the Ethnographic Micro -region of the Ethnographic Mikroregion. He deals with the active promotion of Vistula tourism and recreation as well as cultural heritage associated with the Wisła River.
The Wide Water Foundation has been involved in the implementation of public tasks and commercial projects serving the constantly growing cultural and tourist potential of the Vistula River since 2012. We associate enthusiasts of traditional sailing, experienced managers, sailors and cultural animators. During several years of its activity, the Wide Water Foundation gained many partners, including the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, the Office of the Capital City of Warsaw, Marshal’s Office of the Masovian Voivodeship, a number of poviats, municipalities, cultural institutions and smaller public administration units and a group of private partners.
